Data Deletion Instructions
Effective date: June 2, 2026
Adsyncs gives you several ways to delete your data, including the access tokens and advertising data associated with platforms you connect, such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft (Bing) Ads. This page explains exactly how to remove your data. For details on what we collect and how long we keep it, see our Privacy Policy.
1. Disconnect an Ad Platform (Self-Service)
Disconnecting a platform is the fastest way to delete the credentials and stop all access to that platform’s data. To disconnect Meta Ads (or any other provider):
- Sign in to your dashboard at app.adsyncs.net.
- Go to Connections and open the provider you want to remove.
- Select Disconnect (you can remove a single ad account or the entire provider).
When you disconnect, Adsyncs revokes the app’s access to your provider account and deletes the stored, encrypted OAuth tokens for that connection. For Meta specifically, this calls Meta’s permission-revocation endpoint (DELETE /me/permissions) so the app no longer has access to your Meta account.
2. Revoke Access From the Platform Directly
You can also remove Adsyncs’s access from your platform account settings at any time:
- Meta / Facebook: Go to Settings & Privacy → Business Integrations, select Adsyncs, and choose Remove.
- Google: Visit Google Account → Third-party access and remove Adsyncs.
- LinkedIn / Microsoft: Remove Adsyncs from the permitted-services or connected-apps section of your account settings.
Revoking access from the platform invalidates the tokens Adsyncs holds. The next time Adsyncs attempts to use them, the connection is treated as disconnected.
3. Delete Your Account
Deleting your Adsyncs account removes your account and workspace data and all associated provider connections and encrypted tokens. To delete your account, email us at contact@adsyncs.net from the email address on your account with the subject “Account and Data Deletion Request.”
4. Request Deletion of Your Personal Data
To request deletion of personal data we hold about you, including under the GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, Vietnam’s Personal Data Protection Decree, and other applicable laws, email contact@adsyncs.net with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” Before acting on a request, we verify your identity using reasonable measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the request. We will confirm and complete deletion within the timeframes required by applicable law.
5. What Happens After Deletion
After you disconnect a platform or delete your account, we delete or make unusable the encrypted OAuth tokens and connection records for that provider, and the connected ad-platform data returned by tool calls (which is generally processed transiently and not stored as a long-term copy). Account and workspace data is deleted or de-identified within 90 days of a verified account-deletion request, and residual copies are removed from backups on the normal backup-rotation cycle, generally within 35 days. We may retain a limited subset of data only where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
